Emeka Rollas led Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) has suspended actress Nneoma Ukpabi, who is the Chairman of the Imo State chapter of the guild, over alleged fraud and torture of one Favour Ugemega.

Nneoma Ukpabi’s suspension comes after a lady named Favour Ugemega revealed that she paid N400,000 to Nneoma Ukpabi as for AGN registration and that the Chairman had promised to take her abroad. But When she sensed she was being scammed, she requested her money back but instead of giving her Money back to her, Nneoma Ukpabi allegedly locked her up and tortured her with the help of some boys.

Emeka Rollas, the President of the Guild, confirmed this in a statement on Monday 24th October 2022 and announced Nneoma Ukpabi's suspension as the AGN chairman, Imo State. His statement reads: 

'Few hours ago I got this report about how this lady was treated I followed the matter up through the Delta state chairman to draw a conclusion that the boys were complicit with Nneoma on this matter.

No new member or any human deserve to be treated in this manner.

We have just suspended Nneoma Ukpabi indefinitely until she and her accomplices are brought to book and she clears herself before the National Disciplinary committee.
