Igbokwe Chika Johnson also known as Mr Smile is a man of many parts. He is a Nigerian actor, model and fitness instructor who plies his trades in the Asian country of Malaysia with an enviable track record in the Malaysian film industry.

He has no roots in Nigeria as an actor but the man from Aguata local government area of Anambra State, has done himself a world of good in his second home of Malaysia. He has done many Television commercials as well as movies.

Igbokwe Chika Johnson began his journey as an actor and a model in 2011. He started with television commercials before stamping his feet in the Malaysian movie industry as an actor. He did Reebok CrossFit , Mentos, Caltex television commercials in 2016. He also featured in a Tamil movie “Singam 3” in 2016.

By 2017 he had grown in prominence and thus was recognised for his talent and more jobs came his way. He did Petronas commercials, The Flutter commercial in Indonesia and did many clothing prints and photo shoots too.

In 2018 he did commercials for Harpic, Wonda Coffee and others. From early 2016 his acting career really took a flight having built a reputation as a top model in the country’s entertainment industry.

“As a child growing up, I have always loved to take part in church activities like drama. I never shied away from the camera. So, acting came to me naturally and I love it,” he said in an interview.

“My mission in life is to spread love and positivity around the world. I am blessed to be a black man. I always thank God for that. Living here in Malaysia has been great, it’s my second home and I love it here and all the people I have met see beyond the color of my skin. Personally for me, we are all human beings and live under the same sky, no matter your skin color,” he said of his sojourn in Malaysia.

“I have worked with John Abraham, he is an Indian film actor, film producer, and former model who appears in Hindi-language films,” he added.

Igbokwe Chika Johnson is also a fitness Instructor and plans to have gym houses all over Nigeria in no distant future because according to him, one of his dreams is to come home and help build the country
