Samuel Oyindobra Egbuson is the father of Nollywood actors - Dakore Egbuson Akande and Timini Egbuson. He died on 1st January 2026. He will be buried in his hometown in Bayelsa State, Nigeria.

Nollywood actor Timini Egbuson has announced the death of his father, Samuel Oyindobra Egbuson.
The actor, who is also brother to actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande, shared the news on Sunday via his official Instagram and Facebook pages alongside pictures of his late dad.
He wrote:
Didn’t think I’ll start the year saying this … Rest in peace Dad 🕊️So much left unsaid but I’ll keep making you proud. ❤️May His soul Rest In Peace (RIP)
