59-year-old Akwa Ibom state born Liz Benson was the queen of Nollywood in the 1990s with popular movies like Glamour Girls, True Confession, Scores To Settle, Confusion, Izaga, Diamond Ring, among several others.
Liz Benson was the Genevieve Nnaji, Funke Akindele, and Destiny Etiiko of her time (1990s).
She took a long break from Nollywood after she became an Evangelist and later got married to a Pastor, Bishop Great Ameye of Freedom Family Assembly at the Rainbow Christian Assembly in Warri, Delta State.
Good to see her back on screen!
