Tchidi Chikere is a top Nollywood movie director and producer who produced and directed some of Genevieve Nnaji's early movies that shot her into the limelight.

Genevieve Nnaji and Tchidi Chikere had a good working relationship in Nollywood. Though some rumored that Tchidi Chikere and Genevieve Nnaji may have dated but nothing to prove that the star actress really dated Tchidi Chikere. It's all rumors.
Tchidi Chikere had featured Genevieve Nnaji in old Nollywood movies like Ijele, Beloved. Blood Sisters, Two Together, My Idol, Beautiful Soul, Fire Dancer, Wind Of Glory, Free Giver, Passions, Rising Sun, among others.
Tchidi Chikere shared old photos of him and Genevieve Nnaji on movie set with detailed story of their movie background.
He wrote:
MY NOLLYWOOD JOURNEY: I saw her birthday posts this week and I remembered to celebrate her today. The last time I called her was sometime in 2022 , when she picked up and I said, ‘hello’ She said, ‘I know that voice’ and I said Tchidi. She said, she! I know that I know that voice. That is Genevieve Nnaji for you, smart as ever! I had called to discuss the possible remake of TWO TOGETHER movie. (Which we didn’t get to do) Yet) Today I am celebrating this evergreen screen multi talented lady who has surpassed all expectations in her artistic prowess. Starting from my first movie with her, ‘IJELE’ which I wrote and co produced alongside CHIDI ARUOMA -I don’t know where he has gone to-
Ijele has remained an all time ever green hit and also Genevieve’s First Big role; to others like BELOVED. BLOOD SISTERS. MY IDOL. (Which production pics I have shared in this post) BEAUTIFUL SOUL. FIRE DANCER. WIND OF GLORY. FREE GIVER. PASSIONS. RISING SUN etc The list is endless. Whatever role you give her she gives you extra, before I say , I want you to do it like this or like that, she has already done it. I have worked with many an actor and that is not a quality I have found in many. I remember on set of RISING SUN we were filming in the hot sun and scorched earth inside a deeply hidden village, the entire under of her right foot heated up caked and peeled off from running barefooted along almost all the village paths in her role as IYANGA a strong and vulnerable woman traumatized by the death of her husband ( EMMA AYALOGU) and son, and later rescued from stigma by KENNETH OKONKWO. But did she quit? Did she complain? Not Genevieve. Resilient as ever she carried on till we wrapped the production.
It does feel good to see her conquer new climes every single day ,undaunted and unstoppable. A true role model for todays people of the art. Salud.

Meanwhile, Gistlover had claimed that Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and Genevieve Nnaji had an issue because of Tchidi Chikere. This again cannot be proven as it's rumor.
Gistlover, Instagram Blogger had accused Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde of having had an affair with Tchidi Chikere, that Omotola had fought Genevieve Nnaji over Tchidi Chikere. This was after accusing Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde of dating Adams Oshiomhole.
But there is nothing to establish that Tchidi Chikere dated or slept with Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde and nothing to back up the rumour that Omotola and Genevieve Nnaji fought over Tchidi Chikere. It's all rumour!
The blogger wrote;

It is not only Oshiomole Aunty Amotee, Tchidi that made you fight with Genevieve then dey the list (some of the industry people know about this low key) them plenty for the list, who gave you that name Omosexy?
