Nollywood star actor, Junior Pope Odonwodo is dead. He died on 10 April 2024 at age 39 years old. He is survived by his wife and 3 children - 3 sons, his parents and family.

Junior Pope drowned at River Niger when their boat capsized while shooting on the set of Adanma Luke movie 'The Other Side of Life" in River Niger this afternoon on 10th of April 2024. Those with life jacket were allegedly found while those without life jacket dead.

Meanwhile, Junior Pope posted his last video of him crossing the River Niger without a life jacket on his Instagram post in the morning of 10th April 2024 and wrote:

"See me lamenting……The risk we take to entertain you ; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…… Na wahoooooo …. Who does that ??

He passed on with some others after the boat they were on, at a river Capsided while shooting a scene for a movie.

HE WAS WITHOUT A LIFE JACKET. 💔
