Anambra State PDP Screening Committee disqualified Marcellinus Chukwumaeze Nzeribe aka Chuma Nzeribe alongside Ozigbo, Dr. Obinna Uzoh.

Chief Chuma Nzeribe was disqualified based on alleged perjury committed during documentation, in other words, being economic with truth in the information they supplied about them in the nomination forms submitted.

Nzeribe, a former House of Representatives member was said to have failed to indicate in the nomination form that he has court trial which was still ongoing.

The report reproduced excerpts of the court order which showed that he was standing trial and had jumped bail leading to issuance of a warrant of arrest by court on 21 March, 2022 for him to be rearrested.

“There are too many inconsistencies in the name of the Aspirant. Unfortunately, there is no Affidavit to reconcile all these fundamental discrepancies. In the forms filled, he has the name: Hon. Nzeribe Chukwumaeze Marcellinus. In the documents attached, there are conflicts,” the committee observed.
