Biography, Wikipedia: Paul Onuachu is a 6"7 feet tall Nigerian born professional footballer, Super Eagles player who plays for Belgian club, Genk and the Nigeria national team, as a forward.

As at 2021, Paul Ebere Onuachu held the record of scoring the top fastest goal in Nigeria’s international football history and the fourth fastest goal in the history of international football in the world, when he scored within 9 seconds of Nigeria’s clash with Egypt on the 26th of March, 2019. This sole goal of his which gave the Super Eagles of Nigeria victory over Muhammed Salah’s Pharaohs of Egypt broke the record of Nigeria’s inability to win Egypt for a long time of about thirty years.

Paul Onuachu Club Career

Paul Onuachu moved to Danish club FC Midtjylland on a scholarship, from their affiliate team in Nigeria, Ebedei in 2012.

In June 2013, Onuachu signed a new three-year contract with the club, before extending it for three years in August 2015. In early 2015 Paul Onuachu was loaned to Vejle BK, before returning to FC Midtjylland ahead of the 2015–16 season.

Paul Onuachu signed for Belgian club Genk in August 2019.

In February 2015, Paul Ebere Onuachu was called up to the Nigerian under-23 national team.

In March 2019 he received his first call-up to the Nigerian senior team, the Super Eagles.

The goal was scored within the first ten seconds of the game, and the fastest ever scored for Nigeria. Paul Onuachu The Philanthropist: Onuachu Provides Electricity For His Hometown In Umuota Village, Imo State

Paul Onuachu's village in Imo State had been without electricity for years before he stepped in to help.

In August 2020, Paul Onuachu directed the community leaders of his village and home town, Umuota Agbaghara Nsu to forward him the cost of electrifying the community. Within days of this call, crop of electrical engineers were shipped in as work commenced earnestly until the Covid-19 pandemic caused a total lockdown. With the relaxation of the lockdown, work was completed such that by Tuesday, December 22, 2020, the village was agog when electric light was seen for the first time in the history of the community. Thanks to the young philanthropic footballer, Paul Onuachu.

Paul Onuachu Contracted COVID-19

Super Eagles striker, Paul Onuachu, had in July 2020 tested positive for coronavirus, but the result of his compatriots Stephen Odey and Cyril Dessers at Belgian club Genk, came out negative.

Paul Onuachu was the first Super Eagles star to test positive for the virus that had caused sporting events cancellations and suspensions across the globe.
