Biography, Wikipedia: Jimi Disu is an ace Nigerian born Journalist, Media Analyst, Content Provider, and Blogger who has worked with media houses such as Daily Times, Vanguard, Punch, Compass, 234Next, Classic FM, Nigerian Info and others.
Jimi Disu is an alumnus of the University of Lagos (UNILAG). He started his journalism career in the DAILY TIMES in 1975, just before he got admission into the university.
Jimi Disu's career experience spans over media work as assistant editor of the PUNCH, Business Editor of the VANGUARD NEWSPAPERS, Senior Manager and Head Corporate Affairs of Lever Brothers in the 80s, and media consultant to blue chip companies like TOTAL NIGERIA PLC, CRUSADER INSURANCE, HUNTLEIGH HEALTHCARE LTD, PHILLIPS PROJECT CENTRE, COCA COLA, WORLD TRADE CENTRE, WAMCO, INDUSTRIAL GASES etc.
Folajimi Disu was the Marketing Director of the COMPASS NEWSPAPERS and later 234NEXT. He has also been a judge for over ten years in the famed DIAMOND AWARD FOR MEDIA EXCELLENCE (DAME), which is the foremost annual award organ for media practitioners.

In clarifying his stance on religion, Jimi Disu said:
"I am a religious person but I keep my beliefs private. I am an Anglican but I will not be part of the hypocrisy and irresponsibility associated with religion. When I am in the UK, I attend service. Why? Because it’s 45 minutes with a straight communion. I have nothing against those who attend other services but it doesn’t suit me – the extra stuff like dancing and jumping up. Religion should be done with reverence. It’s a personal belief, though, and I feel fulfilled and that’s why I don’t go to church here. A lot of our worship here is based on showmanship. A lot of racketeering is going on in religion on all sides. I refuse to endorse or be part of that. If someone is knocking on my door at 5am to preach, how does he know that I haven’t been praying all night and just about to sleep? Nigerians have fallen victim to the business of religion. In those days, a reverend had a 504 and modest possessions. Faith schools were free. Now, you have people paying tithes and offerings, yet they can’t afford to send their children to those schools set up by religious institutions."
