Uzee Usman Adeyemi is a Nigerian born Nollywood and Kannywood actor, movie Producer, TV host and the CEO of Uzee Concept who has produced more than 20 movies in Nollywood and Kannywood.

History Of Uzee Usman: Nollywood Career, Occupation

Having studied Special Effects in South Africa, Uzee Usman returned home to Kannywood where he is currently one of the most sought-after filmmakers and cross-over actors. 

Uzee Usman started his movie career in 2003. He started as a make-up artiste which earned him an award at the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA) in 2008. Uzee Usman also won the best makeup artiste for the movie, ‘London Boy,’ and gained experience and contacts that launched him into stardom.

Uzee Usman then started acting, after which he tried presenting before upgrading to a movie maker and entrepreneur. He soon became very famous in Kannywood movies and even produced some of the movies. He is the CEO of Uzee Concept too.

Over the years, Uzee Usman has produced more than 30 movies in Nollywood and Kannywood, which earned him multiple awards, including the United Nations Peace Achievers Award. He is also African Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA) Best Film winner of 2014, Best Producer, B.U.K, Best Film Maker (North), Actors Screen Award, Best Movie Producer, Afro-Hollywood Awards London 2016, and lots more.

Uzee Usman has produced award winning films, both in Kannywood and Nollywood, including "Oga Abuja", which won Best Hausa Movie of the Year at the 2013 City People Entertainment Awards; and 'Maja' which won Best Film of the Year (Kannywood) at the 2014 City People Entertainment Awards and was nominated in the Best Picture category at the 2014 Nigeria Entertainment Awards.
